It was lovely day. It is one of the best day we had in Italy. Lucia was very friendly and professional. We really liked the hike and she adjusted the hike according to our ability. We saw the open air museum for war . It was interesting. At the end , we had our lunch in the hut . The food was very delicious . I highly recommended this experience. Don’t miss it if you are in Dolomites.

I would definitely recommend Lucia, especially as a guide to remote spots in Italy. In September 2019, Lucia and I hiked areas where my grandfather was during WWI. My grandfather was an Alpino (1913-1919) and was stationed for a part of his duty along the present-day Slovenian border. Today, this remote location is used primarily for downhill skiing and climbing. Since there are very few hikers and it is hard to find a guide. I was lucky and found Lucia. She was intrigued by the idea of hiking areas where my grandfather had been during the war. She prepared proposals, and after we selected one, she hiked the area to ensure it would be appropriate and safe for 2 senior women. Lucia led as we traversed absolutely stunning mountain scapes sometimes dotted with herds of alpine ibex. Small evidences of the war were still present. For me, it was breathtakiing while humbling to iImagine my grandfather living and fighting in these majestic mountains. During our time together, I asked MANY questions which Lucia kindly and patiently answered. Lucia had accurately assessed our hiking abilities and provided us with a challenging, rewarding and safe trip. Without Lucia, I never would have fulfilled my dream.
